Why a clear online plan matters in the UAE
Almost everyone in the UAE is online. DataReportal counts 11.3 million internet users in the country, which is 99.0% of the population (Digital 2026 report, data from October 2025). When people want a product or a service, they search first.
Most of that searching happens on one platform. Google handled 93.47% of all searches in the UAE in September 2026, according to StatCounter. Bing came second with less than 4%. If your business does not show up on Google, most buyers will not find you.
Online shopping is growing fast too. The UAE e-commerce market reached AED 42.2 billion in 2025, up from AED 17.6 billion in 2020, based on Euromonitor data shared by EZDubai. Online sales now make up about 15.7% of all retail sales in the country.
So the question is not whether to market online. It is where to spend your time and money first. That is the part I help with.

What I do for UAE businesses
I focus on two things that bring buyers: Amazon and Google search. I also build websites and run ads, so the whole plan fits together.
Amazon account management for Amazon.ae and beyond
Amazon.ae took over from Souq.com in May 2019 and is now one of the main places people in the UAE shop online. Selling there is not hard to start, but it is easy to get wrong.
Here is what I handle for sellers:
- Seller Central setup and the document checks Amazon asks for
- Brand Registry support, so you can protect your brand and use A+ Content
- Product research with Helium 10 and Jungle Scout
- Listing titles, bullet points and backend search terms
- FBA shipments, stock levels and account health checks
Before you start, it helps to know the costs. Amazon says most referral fees on Amazon.ae are between 4.5% and 15% of the sale price. Fulfilment by Amazon (FBA) starts from AED 7.5 per unit, and Easy Ship starts from AED 14 per shipment. UAE-based sellers also need a valid trade licence, and VAT registration becomes mandatory once your taxable sales pass AED 375,000 in 12 months.

Amazon PPC and A+ Content
Good listings get found. Good ads and images get the sale. I set up and manage Sponsored Products and Sponsored Brands campaigns, and I track ACOS (ad spend divided by ad sales) and TACOS (ad spend divided by total sales) every week.
I also design A+ Content and listing images in Photoshop. That means comparison charts, brand story modules and lifestyle images that answer a buyer’s questions before they ask. You need Brand Registry to use A+ Content, so I usually set that up first. Read more about my Amazon PPC and listing optimization service.

SEO services in Dubai and across the UAE
As an SEO expert in Dubai, I work on three areas:
- On-page SEO: page titles, headings, content and internal links built around what your buyers search for
- Technical SEO: site speed, Core Web Vitals, crawl errors, schema markup and Google Search Console fixes
- Off-page SEO: links and mentions from real, relevant websites
I will be honest about timing. Google’s own guide says SEO usually takes “four months to a year” before you see the benefits. Google also says no one can guarantee a #1 ranking. Anyone who promises that is not telling you the truth.

Local SEO and Google Business Profile
If your customers are in Dubai, Sharjah or Abu Dhabi, Google Maps matters. I set up and improve your Google Business Profile, keep your name, address and phone number the same everywhere online, and build local listings. I also help you ask for reviews in a way that follows Google’s rules.
Link building and guest posts
Links from other websites still help pages rank. I find real sites in your industry and pitch useful guest articles. I do not buy links from link farms or private blog networks. Google’s spam policies treat these as link schemes, and they can hurt your site.
Website design and development
I build websites on WordPress, Shopify and Squarespace. Every site is mobile-friendly, loads fast and is set up for SEO from day one. If you serve Arabic-speaking customers, I can set up an Arabic version with right-to-left layout.
Google Ads, Meta Ads and social media
I run Google Ads (Search and Performance Max) and Meta Ads for Facebook and Instagram, with proper conversion tracking so you know your cost per lead. I also plan and post content for Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIn. One thing to know: since 1 February 2026, anyone who posts paid promotions on social media in the UAE needs an Advertiser Permit from the National Media Authority.
Freelancer or agency: which one fits you?
Many business owners ask this, so here is a fair comparison. Published market prices for Dubai show independent consultants charging about AED 2,000 to 8,000 a month, while agencies charge about AED 8,000 to 25,000 or more.
| Freelancer (me) | Typical agency | |
|---|---|---|
| Who does the work | The person you talk to | Often a junior team member |
| How you reach them | WhatsApp, directly | Through an account manager |
| Monthly cost range | About AED 2,000 to 8,000 | About AED 8,000 to 25,000+ |
| Contract | Short, flexible terms | Often 6 to 12 months |
| Capacity | Limited number of clients | Larger team |
An agency makes sense if you need a big team for many channels at once. A digital marketing freelancer in Dubai makes more sense if you want one person who knows your business well and answers quickly.
How I work
1
Audit
I look at your website, Google rankings or Amazon account and tell you what is holding you back. This first review is free.
2
Plan
You get a written plan with clear priorities, a timeline and a fixed monthly price.
3
Build and launch
I fix, write, design and set up the work, and send you updates on WhatsApp.
4
Report
Each month you get a short report from Google Analytics 4, Search Console or Seller Central showing what changed and what comes next.
Results from client projects
These screenshots come straight from client accounts I have worked on, in Amazon Seller Central and Google Search Console. I have hidden client names and website addresses to protect their privacy.

What digital marketing costs in the UAE
Prices vary a lot, so here are published ranges from Dubai market guides. Use them as a guide, not a fixed rate.
| Service | Published range in the UAE |
|---|---|
| Local SEO (Global Media Insight) | AED 1,500 to 5,000 per month |
| Independent digital marketing consultant (Aakash Pareek) | AED 2,000 to 8,000 per month |
| PPC management, ad spend not included (Apptunix) | AED 3,000 to 12,000 per month |
| Freelancer hourly rate (Apptunix) | AED 150 to 500+ per hour |
Two things to check in any quote. First, UAE prices often do not include 5% VAT. Second, your ad budget on Google, Meta or Amazon is separate from the management fee.
My starting prices
- Amazon account management from AED 1,200 per month
- SEO and local SEO from AED 1,500 per month
- One-off SEO audit AED 499, Amazon listing optimization AED 150 per product
I confirm a fixed price in AED after a free audit, before any work starts.
About me

My work covers websites, SEO, ads and Amazon. Many of my clients need more than one of these, so I plan them together. A brand that sells on Amazon.ae often needs its own website and Google rankings too, and it makes sense for one person to see the full picture.
I work alone, on purpose. A small client list means I can reply quickly and keep track of your numbers myself. I use the same tools larger teams use, including Semrush, Ahrefs, Helium 10, Jungle Scout, Google Analytics 4 and Photoshop.
Besides Amazon, I have also managed Noon seller accounts in the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Egypt.
I live in Ajman and know how people in the UAE shop: on their phones, with WhatsApp open, and often in both English and Arabic.
Certifications and client reviews
I hold a certificate in SEO, Digital Marketing and Agentic AI from iSkills LLC (USA), completed in September 2026, a three-month Digital Marketing certification from Enablers College of Technology, and an Amazon Private Label course certificate from E-Comrades (2022). You can read what clients say about my work on my Upwork and Fiverr profiles, and see my background on LinkedIn.
On Upwork I hold a 100% Job Success score and a 4.8 out of 5 rating from client reviews (November 2026). My Upwork portfolio also shows results from an off-page SEO campaign, with Google Search Console data, and Amazon PPC results for the German marketplace.
Superb experience. Professional attitude, premium-quality work, and excellent problem-solving skills throughout the project.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a digital marketing consultant cost in Dubai?
Published guides put independent consultants at about AED 2,000 to 8,000 per month, and hourly rates at about AED 150 to 500 or more. The price depends on how many services you need. I quote a fixed monthly price after a free audit.
How long does SEO take to show results?
Google says it usually takes four months to a year from the time changes are made. Local SEO and fixes to a site with technical problems can show results sooner. Be careful with anyone who promises fast #1 rankings.
Do I need a trade licence to sell on Amazon in the UAE?
If you are based in the UAE, yes. Amazon asks UAE sellers for a valid trade licence along with ID and bank details. Sellers based outside the UAE can sometimes sell through Amazon Global Selling without a UAE licence.
How much does it cost to sell on Amazon.ae?
Most referral fees are between 4.5% and 15% of the sale price, depending on the category. FBA fulfilment starts from AED 7.5 per unit, plus monthly storage fees. Check Amazon’s pricing page before you set your prices, as fees change.
Do I need to register for VAT to sell on Amazon UAE?
VAT registration is mandatory once your taxable sales pass AED 375,000 in 12 months. You can register by choice from AED 187,500. Registering late can lead to a fine, so it is worth checking early.
How long does Amazon seller account approval take?
Sellers usually report 2 to 5 working days once all documents are submitted (SPC Free Zone). It can take longer if Amazon asks for more checks, so make sure your licence, ID and bank details all match.
Should I hire a freelancer or an agency?
A freelancer costs less and you speak to the person doing the work. An agency gives you a bigger team. If you need help with Amazon, SEO and a website, a single freelancer can often handle all three for a small or growing business.
Do you work with businesses outside Dubai?
Yes. I am based in Ajman and work with businesses in Sharjah, Abu Dhabi and across the UAE. I also work with clients in other countries through Upwork and Fiverr.

Ready to grow on Google and Amazon?
